Dr. Jen Aronowitz is a licensed pediatric neuropsychologist who specializes in the treatment and support of neurodivergent children, adolescents, and young adults. She has been fortunate to be part of different multidisciplinary treatment teams in various inpatient and outpatient settings. She has long provided comprehensive evaluations to assess for neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD, autism, and specific learning differences. She also works with children who have medical diagnoses like epilepsy or traumatic brain injury to provide a baseline assessment and track their progress. She understands the important impact of anxiety, mood, sleep, overwhelm, and behavior on every individual’s presentation and strives to help you understand your whole child.
She; been in private practice for over twenty-five years and completed her research internships at UCSF, first, with a focus on infant attachment and temperament, and then with a focus on pediatric epilepsy. She did her clinical internship in neuropsychology at UAMS and her a two-year fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Her aim is to get to know your child and see what makes them shine. She provides helpful summaries and useful research to help parents better understand her conclusions and offers extensive referrals and recommendations to help kids thrive. Finally, her most important education has come from parenting her two amazing boys, who provide constant reminders that she always has more to learn.
